Founded in 1947, Houston Youth Symphony is one of the largest nonprofit youth symphony organizations in the United States. Today Houston Youth Symphony has more than 300 musicians in its four orchestras. Our mission is to recruit, develop, educate and nurture young musicians by providing the opportunity to train under professional conductors and coaches and to perform in professional venues. Support for our programs and services is derived primarily from the gifts of generous benefactors including foundations, public agencies, corporations and individuals.

Congratulations to Houston Youth Symphony!
